DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police need your help identifying a suspect wanted in connection to a fatal shooting on the city's east side Friday.
On Dec. 13 around 7:13 p.m. in the 2200 block of Lafayette, a 19-year old male victim was inside a party store on Chene where he had a verbal altercation with the suspect.
The victim and family members left the location on foot, and the suspect chased them to the 2200 block of Lafayette and began firing shots at them, striking the victim multiple times.
Medics responded and took the victim to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation.
