(WXYZ) — A Wisconsin who was charged in the alleged plot to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has been released from jail on bond.
Brian Higgins paid a $10,000 cash bail on Monday and also attended his extradition hearing, according to our sister station TMJ4 in Milwaukee.

A judge ordered that if Higgins was released, he must stay within the boundaries of two counties in Wisconsin, surrender his passport and not have contact with any of the other men who are charged in the case.

Higgins was charged with providing material support for terrorist acts last week. It's alleged he traveled to West Michigan with the militia group "Wolverine Watchmen" last month to surveil Whitmer's vacation home.
Another suspect, 21-year-old Paul Bellar of Milford, was extradited back to Michigan from South Carolina where he was extradited. He's currently in the Jackson County Jail where he's being held before a hearing with a judge.

Bellar is charged with providing material support for terrorist acts, gang membership, carrying or possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony and felony firearm.
