"Something told me to get up," said neighbor Stephanie Patton who heard some commotion outside.
Patton says she saw the woman on the ground, screaming for help. She tells 7 Action News she wrapped her in a blanket and tried to help her.

Police say two people were found dead in the home. They also say the woman is being treated at a nearby hospital for a leg injury.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear at this time.
