Detroit Police are searching for the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash early Sunday morning.

Officers say around 2:39 a.m., an unidentified driver operating a black 2008 Cadillac Escalade SUV was driving northbound on Waterman Street and did not yield at a stop sign.

As a result, the suspect hit a driver in a black car traveling westbound on Regular.

Upon impact, the Cadillac SUV rolled over and the driver got out and ran away from the scene, police say.

The victim, a man in his 20's, suffered head trauma and was taken to local hospital. He has been listed in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
