Suspected drunk driver who caused Melvindale explosion appears in court on drunk driving charge

Melvindale Police say Andrew Gregoire, 25, had a blood alcohol level of .152 the morning he lost control of his car and crashed into a gas main, causing a large explosion that forced evacuations.

On Tuesday, Gregoire appeared in court to be arraigned on a misdemeanor charge of drunk driving.

But as 7 Action News reporter Kimberly Craig shows us, a possible 93 days in jail may be the least of Gregoire's problems.
