ROSEVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Two suspects have been arraigned following a shooting that happened Saturday in the parking lot of a Roseville bar.
Police say a fight broke out among several people in Spot Bar & Grill's parking lot. One of the people was armed with a handgun. During the fight, the man's handgun fell out from his belt line.
Robert Ridling, a 24-year-old from Warren, then picked up the gun and fired several rounds, police say. Ridling shot two people and also shot himself in the foot.
Sadiq Blevins, also a 24-year-old from Warren, then picked up the same firearm and tried to dispose of it.
The wounded individuals were taken to a nearby hospitals, treated and released.
Ridling was charged with one count of assault with intent to murder, felony firearm and larceny from person. He is being held at the Macomb County Jail with bond set at 1,000,000 cash/surety no 10%. He is due back in court on March 27.
Blevins was charged with one county of receiving and concealing a weapon, accessory after the fact to a felony, tampering with evidence and possession of methamphetamine/ecstasy. He is also being held at Macomb County Jail and is due back in court on March 27. His bond was set at 50,000 cash/surety.
Police did not release the name or photo of the third suspect, but the 27-year-old Detroit man is expected to be charged with one count of reckless use of firearms. He suffered gunshots wounds to his leg.
