Police have arrested two suspects involved in the BB gun damage of multiple vehicles in a Harper Woods neighborhood.
Officers say on Nov. 26, Harper Woods detectives were surveilling in the City of Detroit when they located the silver Ford Taurus matching the description of vehicle used in the incident.
Detectives stopped the Taurus and arrested the two men inside the car -- a 16-year-old juvenile and 17-year-old Deshawn Keller.
On Nov. 19, suspects in a silver Ford Taurus drove around a southwest Harper Woods neighborhood shooting windows out of vehicles parked in driveways and on the street. Twenty-three cars and 1 front door was damaged in total.
Further investigation also revealed the BB guns used were stolen from a local Meijer store.
Both men received charges including: malicious destruction of personal property, possession of loaded firearm in or upon a vehicle and felony firearm.
The 16-year-old was given a $10,000 bond. Keller was set at $25,000 bond and is due back in court on Dec. 19.
