Police are investigating after a Monday morning party bus shooting left two men fighting for their lives.

Police say it all began at the Burn Hookah Bar in Southfield where two women got into a fight.

Southfield officers were called to break it up. According to police, the women went their separate ways, one getting onto a party bus, the other in a car.

But that's not where it ended, police say.

The driver of the car reportedly followed the party bus to Monterrey in Highland Park and that's when, police say, someone got out and started to fire shots at the party bus.

We're told the party bus was unloading passengers at the house.

Two men from that group tried running after the car, and were each shot. One man was shot in the chest. They are both listed in critical condition, according to police. Both are in their 20s.

Now police have three shooting locations because those men were following the car and the shooter kept firing.

Investigators say it appears people on the party bus do know the shooter.

Police say they are searching for two vehicles: a blue Malibu and gray sedan.
