Police: Suspects wanted for robbing, firing shots at driver on I-75

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Lanes of I-75 are back open following a shooting on the freeway Friday morning.

The incident happened on the Lodge right near I-75 around 6:00 a.m.

Police say two cars pinned another car, someone got out of the car and robbed the person inside the car that was pinned.

Someone also fired shots, according to an officer at the scene. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

The suspected robbers took off from the scene.

The left lane and left shoulder on the northbound Lodge was blocked for a while – but all lanes are back open now.
