MARLETTE, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Marlette Police Department is searching for two suspects who wore masks and robbed a Chase Bank with a gun on Monday.
According to police, the suspects walked into the bank around 9:05 a.m. on Monday and pulled out a gun, demanding money. The suspects took off on foot and picked up by a waiting white Cadillac.
That Cadillac has minor front end damage on the passenger side and was last seen going north on M-53.
The first suspect is described as a white male, mid to early 20s, 5-feet-6 around 120 pounds, while the second suspect is a white male, mid to early 20s, 6-feet tall weighing around 170 pounds.
The robbery also forced a shelter in place for Marlette Community Schools. Anyone with information is asked to call the Marlette Police Department at 989-635-2008 or the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Department 1-800-881-5911.
