 A teenager is charged in the shooting death of his friend. The Genesee County prosecutor is accusing the 16-year-old boy of using a stolen gun in a murder.
 
Abdurrahman (Abdu) Ahmed Akl will be tried as an adult.  He is accused of shooting Brady Morris, 18 March 4th in Fenton Township. Prosecutor David Leyton says Morris was found shot in the head at a home on Moffett Drive. He says police found a semiautomatic pistol on the front porch.
 
The prosecutor says the autopsy report indicates that  Morris was shot from behind at point blank range on the top left side of his head. 
 
The 18-year-old suspect is charged with  Open Murder, Receiving and Concealing a Stolen Firearm, and two counts of Felony Firearms.  
 
He's expected to face a judge today (Friday March 10th.)
