Teen charged with raping student inside metro Detroit high school

A 14-year-old boy is facing several charges for allegedly raping a girl inside of a Warren high school last month.

According to Warren Police Commissioner William Dwyer, the teen, who is also a student, sexually assaulted the student inside one of the buildings on November 28.

According to the Macomb Daily, the alleged rape happened after school was out for the day.

The teen is charged with three counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of unlawful imprisonment, and he was arraigned on Tuesday.

"This was a violent, vicious attack on a female student," Dwyer said. "It was brutal, heinous, monstrous and shocking to veteran law enforcement detectives in Warren."

The Macomb Daily reports the entire incident was caught on security cameras inside the school and included nearly a half hour of the girl struggling.

He is being held a a youth facility awaiting a probable-cause conference on December 14, according to the Macomb Daily
