A 21-year-old man driving a motorcycle was killed Saturday in Harrison Township during a crash involving a 16-year-old driver.

The motorcyclist, identified as Evan Gardner of Grand Blanc, died on scene.

The Macomb County Sheriff’s Department said a 16-year-old female was driving a Chevy Traverse Saturday afternoon when she attempted to make a left turn from Reimold St., onto SE Crocker Blvd.

Sheriff’s said the teen crashed into Gardner, who was driving a 1999 Yamaha motorcycle. Gardner was wearing a helmet, according to crash investigators.

The Harrison Township teen driver, along with her two passengers, were not injured.

The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident, and has asked that anyone with information contact Detective Petrykowski at 586-307-9367.
