Teen robbed, stabbed in Bloomfield Township on Monday night

Bloomfield Township police are looking for a suspect who robbed and stabbed a teen on Monday night.

According to police, they received a 911 call about 9:25 p.m. from a resident helping a 17-year-old who was just stabbed in the 1200 block of ward. That's just off Telegraph between Orchard Lake and Square Lake.

Police say the teen was riding his bike when he was about to pass a man walking. That's when the man stepped in and stopped him, demanding his wallet, backpack and bike. A struggle ensued and the man stabbed the teen twice, threatening to kill him several times.

The teen was able to get away and call police.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid 20s, 6-feet-2 to 6-feet-4 , wearing a white hoodie with black drawstrings, black Adidas athletic pants with a white stripe down the side, a purple bandana and black Nike shoes.
