Detroit police are investigating after a teenager was shot overnight in an apparent robbery.
It happened around 3 a.m. near 7 Mile and East Outer Drive.That's on the city's northeast side.
Police aren't releasing much information, but witnesses say a 17-year-old boy was shot in the back.
He was conscious when he was loaded into an ambulance.
People in the neighborhood say there was a dice game going on when a couple of men walked up and robbed it.
That's when the young man was shot.
No word on his condition.
