A family in downtown Detroit is demanding better security at their apartment complex after vandals keep targeting their cars.
Mary McCraney and her daughter, Jamisa Cotton, live in the Cityside Apartments and Townhomes, where they say they pay close to $1,200 for rent. They say someone threw a brick through the back window of McCraney's car.
They say they've asked management to hire overnight security guards, but their complaints are being ignored.
She has filed a police report.
