The jury deliberating in the shooting case involving Federal Judge Terrence Berg has reached a verdict.
Kevin Smith, 23, is accused of shooting Berg outside his Detroit home in March of 2015.
Police say Smith and another man approached Berg and demanded access to his home. When he refused, police say, Smith shot Berg.
Berg told the jury Smith's eyes looked similar to the man who pulled the trigger, but he couldn't positively identify him as the gunman.
