(WXYZ) — The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says testing for three possible cases of coronavirus have come back negative.
However, they say a sample of a fourth possible case has not been sent to the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention.
This fourth case is from Washtenaw County.
The three previous cases that have now been found to not be linked to the deadly virus were from Macomb and Washtenaw counties.
“We are pleased to announce that the results were negative from Michigan’s first three patients under investigation,” said Dr. Joneigh Khaldun, MDHHS chief medical executive and chief deputy for health in a news release. “We encourage healthcare providers to remain vigilant in screening patients for symptoms and travel history, and to contact their local health departments immediately if they see a potential case.”
