The Detroit Symphony Orchestra never looked so good.
Who needs traditional concert tails when you could sport Carhartt bib overalls?
DSO is setting aside its 129-year outfit history to partner with a fellow Detroit institution for a one-of-a-kind wardrobe makeover.
Anne Parsons, DSO president and CEO, says in a newly released video that she has recently been rethinking the ensemble's attire.
"When you think about audiences looking at the stage and relating to what we do, they're looking at people who are dressing in a way that we don't dress," said Parsons.
OK, so it's all an April Fools Joke. But, let's be honest, the orchestra looks fantastic.
