(WXYZ) — A new report from ChamberofCommerce.org details the best cities to live in for each state.
The report looks at cities with populations over 25,000 and covers five essential factors: employment, housing, quality of life, education and health. In total, over 2,500 cities were examined and given rankings.
In Michigan, the top city to live in is Troy.
"Troy’s population is affluent and well-educated, with a large part of the workforce employed in the city’s large automotive sector," the report said. "Troy is also a college town, home to campuses of over half a dozen universities.
Other cities named in the report include Royal Oak, Bloomfield Hills, Rochester and Farmington.
