YPSILANTI, Mich. — Go big or go home. This week's edition of 7 In Your Neighborhood is in fabulous Ypsilanti for the 22nd annual Summer Beer Festival.

WXYZ's Carolyn Clifford will be broadcasting live, starting at 5 p.m. at Riverside Park for the annual festival where beer is king. The festival features a selection of 1,000 Michigan-made craft beers from 150 breweries -- all made in the mitten. Each ticket earns you a generous sample of up to 15 beers and access to food, music and games.

The festival starts Friday at 5 p.m. and runs through Saturday. For ticket information, CLICK HERE.

As part of our 7 In Your Neighborhood summer tour, we highlighting all things wonderful about the city we're in. Starting at 6 a.m. Friday, Photojournalist John Cioliono takes you to the iconic Bomber Restaurant. The restaurant has been open since the 1930s and is famous for feeding hungry workers producing B-24 bombers at nearby Willow Run Airport.

Then at 6 p.m., we'll introduce you to Nicole A. Brown, an inspiring council woman who at 32 years old is already on her 2nd term and is a well-respected mentor to many young women.
