(WXYZ) — Eminem's biological father Marshall Bruce Mathers Jr. died at the age of 67, TMZ reports.
According to TMZ, Mathers died near Fort Wayne, Indiana and suffered a heart attack while at home.
Eminem has made numerous mentions in his songs about his father, specifically about how he never met him in person.
TMZ reports that Eminem wrote letters to his dad as a child but always came back "return to sender." Eminem reportedly never got in contact with his father to reconcile.
