A two-year-old girl is in critical condition after falling into a neighbor's pool in Dearborn.
Dearborn police responded to the scene on Boldt street around 10:30 a.m. Friday morning.
Officers tell Action News, the girl and her 3 year old brother eluded their sleeping parents and walked out of the house, climbing a neighbor's fence, and the 2 year old climbed into the neighbor's pool by way of the pool ladder.
The homeowner looked out her window, saw the child, and performed CPR until emergency crews arrived.
Police and child protective services are now investigating the circumstances surrounding this, including the supervision of the children.
