Toddler wanders into neighbor's back yard, is attacked by chained dog

DETROIT (WXYZ) — A 3-year-old girl is in stable condition after she was attacked by a neighbor's dog in Detroit early Sunday.
Detroit police say the toddler wandered into a nearby back yard around 10 a.m. Sunday. There was no parental supervision.
The dog, which was chained up in the back yard, began to bite and scratch the girl. The girl was then taken to a hospital and is listed in stable condition.
Detroit police have not stated if charges will be sought against the parents of the girl.
This is an ongoing investigation.
