First round of storms this morning brought heavy rain, vivid lightning and gusty winds, but not severe weather.
This afternoon strong to severe storms could develop and sweep across Metro Detroit.
These storms have the potential to generate damaging winds, large hail up to 1 inch and a chance for 1 or 2 tornadoes.
This will have a big impact on the evening drive.
