Troy Police: Home targeted in drive-by shooting was 'not a random event'

TROY, Mich. (WXYZ) — Troy police are investigating a drive-by shooting that happened around 1:40 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of Scottsdale.

There were no injuries to any people, but at least nine bullet holes were discovered in the property at the targeted home in the residential area.

Police say they believe one of the residents of the home was targeted and this is not a random event. The incident remains under active investigation.

Residents in the area are asked to check any home camera systems that may have captured the incident.
