TROY, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Troy Police Department is looking to identify a suspect in two home invasions.

On Feb. 23, officers took reports of two home invasions: one in the 2000 block of Mayflower and one in the 2000 block of Bridal Path, along with an attempted home invasion in the 2100 block of Mayflower. Both streets are located north of Long Lake and east of John R.

Police say on Bridal Path, the suspect pried the rear sliding glass door open and entered the house, taking approximately $5,000 in jewelry and other items. The incident occurred sometime between 2 p.m. on Feb. 21 and 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 23.

On Mayflower, police say the suspect gained entry the same way as on Bridal Path, and also took $5,000 in jewelry and other items. Police say this incident occurred on Feb. 23 between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.

On the 2100 block of Mayflower, police say a resident called 911, saying they saw and heard someone on the back patio. When the resident turned on the porch light, the suspect took off.
