CANTON, Mich. (WXYZ) — All of the residential customers affected by Friday's outage have had their power restored, according to DTE on Saturday.
A large section of Haggerty Road in Canton was without power Friday after a truck accident took down eight utility poles. DTE reported the outage affected close to 600 customers.
Haggerty Road north of Michigan up to Singh Road closed through Saturday, and DTE expects intermittent closures through Sunday. DTE says it has four of the eight poles reset. Work should be completed by Sunday.
Drivers are urged to use any stoplights that are without power as four-way stops.
There are no reports of injuries.
