(WXYZ) — Labor Day weekend was a busy holiday for air travel. According to TSA, they screened a record number of people since the coronavirus pandemic began on Friday.
According to TSA, there were nearly a million people screened on the Friday of Labor Day weekend, the largest since March.
In comparison, TSA saw double that number the year before.
According to TSA, fewer people were screened on Saturday with only about 500,000 people traveling that day.
