(WXYZ) — Turning Point, which provides shelter to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence in Macomb County, will hold its fourth signature fundraiser, "Stepping Out With the Stars."

The fundraiser will be held on April 26 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.

“This is a major event for us,” notes Karan Bates-Gasior, TP Director of Development. “With the efforts of an outstanding committee, we raised raised over $70,000 last year and since the event continues to garner more attendees every year, we’ve had to seek a larger venue to accommodate-date the bigger crowds.”

It will be held at the Wyndham Garden in Sterling Heights and will include dinner, dancing, an open bar and surprise performances. Proceeds will benefit Turning Point. The price is $100 per person and advance tickets are required.

A preview party will be held at the Arthur Murray Sterling Heights Studio on March 29 from 8 to 10. Group dance lessons will be offered, followed by music, dancing, a 50/50 raffle and refreshments.
