PONTIAC, Mich. (WXYZ) — Two men are dead after a shootout and armed robbery in Pontiac.
Officers were called to an apartment complex on East Auburn Road late Saturday night. They found a 21-year-old man with several gunshot wounds. He later died at a hospital.
Police say he was the victim of an armed robbery. Officers say during the robbery, the thief shot the victim but the victim fired back and hit the thief.
Police say the suspected robber, a 21-year-old man, showed up at the hospital. He also died from his injuries.
