Investigators say someone intentionally started an early morning fire that injured two firefighters on Detroit's west side.
The emergency call came in just after 4 a.m. Wednesday. Someone at the scene told firefighters that someone was trapped inside a home on Minock and Van Buren.

Crews tell us that two firefighters suffered first and second degree burns to their hands and faces while battling a house fire. Both of them were taken to the hospital and expected to be OK.
The firefighters escaped by jumping out of windows.
The firefighters who were transported to the hospital have been released from the hospital.
Investigators believe someone sprayed a flammable liquid inside the home. The fire reportedly had a good start before someone called 911.
