Two new cases of Legionnaires' disease have been reported in Genesee County, according to the Genesee County Health Department.
That brings the total number of cases to 12 in the county for 2016. The first case of Legionnaires' was reported in the county in 2016.
Officials say there are usually between nine to 11 cases in the county every year. Cases spiked in 2014-15 when there were 91 reported cases in the county.
The disease is also responsible for at least 12 deaths in Genesee County last year.
