U-Haul is offering some relief to residents of Monroe, Michigan, who have been impacted by massive flooding in the area.
The U-Haul Company of Northwest Ohio is offering 30 days of free self-storage and U-Box portable storage containers to residents in communities surrounding Lake Erie who have been devastated by flooding and mandatory neighborhood evacuations caused by recent storms, according to a press release.
"As a caring and responsible corporate citizen of these communities, we want to help our neighbors in times of need," said David Vallie, U-Haul Company of Northwest Ohio president. "That's why U-Haul is offering dry and secure self-storage for people needing to stow their belongings at no charge for one month."
