(WXYZ) — The U.S. Coast Guard has recovered the body of the missing man believed to have fallen into the Detroit River overnight.
The Coast Guard's dive team was dispatched around 12:15 a.m. this morning.
7 Action News reporter Matt Smith confirmed with close friends the identity of the man. He was 33-year-old Andre Thomas. Friends say he was on a boat returning from Chene Park when he accidentally stepped off the sea wall.
