University of Michigan Police have arrested a 17-year-old for stealing a bike on campus on July 19.

A UMPD officer saw the suspect riding a bike that was reported stolen to the department the day before. Officers say they recovered two additional bikes but are still in search of the owners of several other stolen bikes.

If your bike was stolen on campus, contact UMPD at (734) 763-3434 to check if they have retrieved it.

UMPD has increased patrol on campus in response to the increase of on-campus bike theft over the last few months.
