Ann Arbor police are investigating a second case of ethnic intimidation that happened at the University of Michigan over the weekend.

According to the university, a student was walked near South University Ave. and Washtenaw Ave. when she was approached by two men. It happened between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Saturday.

The university says the two men yelled at her about being in America, made reference to religion and then pushed her down a hill.

The incident happened just one day after police say a man threatened to set a U-M student on fire unless she took off her hijab. In that case, the woman removed her hijab before running off.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 734-794-6839 or 734-763-1131.
