(WXYZ) — Daily record highs will be challenged over the next several days in an unusual stretch of warm weather across metro Detroit.

Temperatures could reach 70° the next five days.

Here are the daily records through Tuesday:

Nov. 6: 75° (1975)
Nov. 7: 70° (1916)
Nov. 8: 71° (1915)
Nov. 9: 75° (1999)
Nov. 10: 68° (1999)

The record of number of 70°+ days in the month of November for metro Detroit is 4 days (2015).

Here are the top 4 warmest days in November:

1) 81° (November 1, 1950)
2) 78° (November 1, 2016)
3) 77° (November 4, 2015 & November 1, 1968)

The wind begins to shift out of the southeast, and off the lakes, later Sunday. That may keep us in the upper 60s Sunday afternoon. It's still a warm weekend, and keep in mind we already reached 72° two days ago. So if we just reach 70° in 3 out of these next 5 days, it would tie the record for number of 70° days in November.

Records go back to 1874.
