There appears to be a new trend in Christmas decor and it has some people scratching their heads.
Upside-down Christmas trees seem to be all the rage this year.
Target, Home Depot and Walmart are a few of the big name retailers selling the trees.
They're flying off the shelves despite some having a hefty price tag of nearly $1,000.
Reaction on social media has been mixed. Some say they love the gravity defying display while others say it goes against tradition.
The upside-down Christmas tree is exactly why I don't bother to keep up with trends - it looks ridiculous 🙃 pic.twitter.com/6ALgFhVmul

I have a lot of questions. Why is Target selling an upside down Christmas tree? Why is it nearly $1000? Is this a Stranger Things joke that I’m missing? Someone help. pic.twitter.com/ZA33y1WKyC
