US Marshals looking for suspect who fired shots at Detroit police officers

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police and the U.S. Marshals are asking for the public's help locating a man in connection to shots being fired at officers on the city's west side.

The incident happened Aug. 27 at 3:15 a.m.

The suspect allegedly fired shots at officers while inside a white Kia, police say. The officers were conducting an investigation outside a motel on Telegraph near 6 Mile Road at the time.

U.S. Marshals are offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest.
