DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) — The mayor of Dearborn Heights had a rough start to Christmas.
Mayor Daniel Paletko says someone slashed the tires on every car that was parked in his driveway.
His personal car, along with his city vehicle and his daughter's vehicle, was targeted sometime on the night of Christmas Eve. The family noticed the vandalism as they were getting ready to leave for church.
The mayor says he believes it was politically motivated.
