DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police in Dearborn Heights want answers after thousands of dollars of damage turned up at the Canfield Ice Arena.
Everything from sinks to mirrors were smashed. Police estimate the total damage at $10,000. The new building was a redevelopment after the the arena was condemned in 2017.

Officers are now turning to the public for help. They say it looks like the vandals struck sometime between early last week and Monday. Additional damage include broken glass showcases and light fixtures.
