The beavers were spotted Thursday afternoon at Ford Cove on the property of the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House.

We're told that beaver sightings around the Ford House are a recent phenomenon. It's been several years since they've been spotted in the cove.

The Ford House says the water quality there has improved in recent years and that's brought more wildlife in to the property. They say turtles are now a more common sight in the summer.

The Edsel & Eleanor Ford house can be a relaxing place to spend the afternoon for people as well as beavers. You can learn more here about visiting their grounds and gardens or touring the former home of the Fords.
