VIDEO: Michigan school officials prep for back to school with 'Old Town Road' parody

GENESEE COUNTY, Mich. (WXYZ) — Some students are already heading back to the classroom, and a pair of school administrators are hoping to start the school year off right.

Superintendent Ben Mainka and Swartz Creek High School principal Ben Kitchen star in "Hometown Road – Back to School."

The video is a parody of the hit song "Old Town Road" by Lil Nas X.

This isn't the first parody by the two, either. They've also released parodies of "Hallelujah" and "Let It Go" to announce snow days last year.

The video has over 50,000 views on YouTube. Watch below:
