STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are looking for a suspect who was captured on camera forcefully shoving a Kroger employee to gain access to a cash draw to steal money.
The robbery happened at the Sterling Heights Kroger, 43893 Schoenherr Road on Jan. 14 just after 5:30 p.m.
Austin Brazier, 24, of Sterling Heights, was arrested within two hours of the robbery, police say. He's charged with assault with intent to rob while unarmed, possession of a controlled substance and probation violation. He received a $1,000 cash surety bond.
