The Roseville Police Department is searching for several suspects wanted for a violent assault of a bowling alley worker on Wednesday night.

According to police, it happened around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday at Apollo Lanes on Gratiot.

Police say the employee asked the group to leave because they became unruly and then began creating a disturbance.

When that happened, police say several members of the group surrounded the counter. While there, the first suspect reached out the counter and punched the employee, and the second suspect stepped behind the counter and "began violent assaulting the employee with punches and kicks to the face and body," police say.

Then, police say the first suspect walked behind the counter, picked up a barstool and threw it at the employee. He then picked up a bowling ball and smashed it on the back of the employee's head.

Police say the employee fell to the ground and both suspects continued kicking the employee in the head before fleeing the location. The 28-year-old employee was taken to the hospital.

The first suspect is a black male in his early 20s, about 200 pounds wearing a black baseball cap, white shirt and black short-sleeve button up. He also had tattoos on his arm and a close-shave beard.

The second suspect, who police say has been identified, is described as a black male in his early 20s, 170 pounds with braided hair wearing a white shirt and black sweat pants.

Anyone with information or any witnesses are asked to call Det. Scicluna 586-447-4510 or the front desk of Roseville Police at 586-447-4484.
