Video surveillance shows suspect in connection to a fatal shooting at a Detroit party store

The Detroit Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in a fatal shooting that took place at a party store.

The shooting took place on October 18 at 8:30 p.m. in the 7900 block of Charlevoix. Police have release surveillance video in the case.

According to police, the suspect approached a 36-year-old man and escorted him out of the store at gunpoint.

The suspect reportedly made the victim sit in a vehicle, then shot him inside the vehicle.

The victim was taken to the hospital, but later died.

A female was also seen in the video. She is wanted for questioning.

The suspect and female drove off in a bronze-colored, newer-model Chrysler 200.

The suspect is described as a  black male, 25-30 years-old, 6’0”, dark complexion, dreadlocks, full beard, wearing a white tee-shirt and black Dickie pants.
