A viewer tip has led to the capture of Curtis Cox, one of Detroit's Most Wanted, according to the U.S. Marshals.
Cox was reportedly arrested on the city's west side.
Cox is described by the Marshals as a well-connected fugitive accused of killing a member of his own family.
“In 2015, Curtis Cox was with his cousin,” Deputy U.S. Marshal Aaron Garcia said. “They get in an argument over a gun, who’s gonna have the gun.”
That argument over a gun in a River Rouge alley ended with Cox’s cousin dead on the ground.
“Cox retrieves the weapon and he shoots his cousin right in the chest and kills him,” Garcia said.
The U.S. Marshals say it didn’t take much to set the 20-year-old off.
Cox had been on the run since the murder in November of 2015.
