(WXYZ) — A vigil will be held on the campus of Lawrence Tech University on Friday afternoon in honor of the 50 victims who were killed at mosques just a week ago in Christchurch, New Zealand.

The vigil will be held at Spirit Rock around 12 p.m. Friday. That's adjacent to LTU's Buell Building and Architecture building.

Several students are expected to speak, as well as LTU President Virinder Moudgil, in an effort to express solidarity with the people of New Zealand.
