The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island is once again in the running for the Best Historic Hotel, just a year after it was named the Best Historic Hotel in 2017.

As part of the readers' choice awards, USA Today is holding its 10Best contest, this time looking for the historic hotels.
Each nominated property, which includes the Grand Hotel, is selected by a panel of travel experts and then voted on by the public.
Voting is open now and is open to the public until Monday, Aug. 6 at 11:59 p.m. EDT and the winners will be announced on Friday, Aug. 17.
